We will not be driving in Europe and we are getting a ride to the airport here-----do we need our passport and our drivers licenses?

Are you asking if you need your Drivers Licenses in addition to your passports? Your D.L. may come in handy. I always take mine as extra ID. Besides it has happened that I have had to drive in Europe even though it was not part of the plan.

You may be asked for 2 picture ID's so always good to have your DL.

patti, at some places ( I know at the Louvre for sure) you will be asked to leave a piece of id on deposit when using the audio guides. They ask for a Passport,, but no way would I leave mine there, they just plonk it in an open file box on the counter,, but, they will and do accept my DL from Canada.. so I will leave that. I think bring a DL along is a good idea.

Internet places in Italy are required by law to get a picture ID from first time users.

Wherever I went in Paris or Spain that required an ID to be left as a deposit on audio tours, etc, my drivers license was accepted without question. I recommend taking yours with you.
