I will be in Iceland Sept 2-7, and renting an apartment. My question is does anyone have any suggestions as to a car rental comany?

I typically use AutoEurope in Europe, but found they did not have the best rates for Iceland. I suggest you shop around as I found very different rates, even for the same company, by going on multiple web sites. I ultimately booked through Budget.

This is the company I used in 2012:
They met us at the airport with the car, and instructed us on how to return it to the airport when we left. Everything went great. At the time I was researching, they had the best rates. (If memory serves me correctly, Thrifty also had good rental rated in Iceland).
