Hi all:
My family and another (4 adults, 4 early teen boys) are thinking of going to Iceland over Thanksgiving. Has anyone been that time of year? I'm guessing summer may be better, but will we still get to see/do most of the stuff going in November? Any insights appreciated! :)

Haven't been myself, but I can tell you the daylight hours will be short. Might be a good time for aurora hunting, though.
Check out the sunrise and sunset times and compare to other times of the year...it's quite a drastic difference. Having said that, there is always stuff to do in Reykjavik and the Icelanders make the best of it. The early sunset does limit what you can do outside of Reykjavik.
