Iceland - Suggestions for one week!

Hi,
I have been to Iceland once in July. I am planning on taking my dad this November.
I would like to show him everything I saw the first time and add on of course.
(not sure about order yet....going towards North first or not)

Day 1 Reykjavik and Golden Circle (Gullfoss/Geysir/1 National Park)
Day 2 Vik and on to Jukursarlon Glacier (boat tour/hike) and area nearby
Day 3 Hofn/Álftafjörður/Hallormsstaður Forest or Seyðisfjörður ?
Day 4 Drive up north towards Ayukeri//Lake Mývatn and Detifoss (and maybe Dimmuborgir)
Day 5 ?? Fjords? Borgarnes? Esjan?
Day 6 ??
(Last Day ) Reykjavik/Blue Lagoon on the way to airport (early evening flight)

Any of you have highlights?
I think my dad would really enjoy ice caving (maybe Ice Cave Tour by Vatnajokull) or snow mobile tour.
I'm open to suggestions! We are both very active and cold doesn't scare us; we like a fast pace and are familiar with rapid weather changes. My dad loves the cold in fact!

Thank you!

The big difference between July and November is your hours of daylight. Unlike July with its almost endless sun, in November you will only have about 6 hours from sunrise to sundown. You'll want to make the most of your daylight, so try to do as much of your driving in the mornings and evenings. Some of your days have several sites and you may be pressed for time to try to see them all during daylight.

Being there in winter gives you a great opportunity to see the northern lights. That is definitely one highlight not to miss.

Oh yes you are correct! This is a must! I might just leave an empty day...in case weather is bad and slows us down...!!! Got a couple more months to plan. Will look into more details for self-drive in the South...and maybe organized Northern Lights tour.
Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I will add that my favorite locations within Iceland were Reykjavik, Vik, Akureyri, Svartifoss, the Myvatn baths (which I preferred to the Blue Lagoon), and the eastern fjords. I don't know that any of these are necessarily highlights above other locations, but they were what I enjoyed most with my time there.
