Iceland's Blue Lagoon and airport travel times

A quick plea for advice from any Iceland experts:

First, we arrive in Reykjavik at about 6:45am, and are planning on going to the Blue Lagoon on our way into town. I'm going to make our reservations there, but for those who have been there, what time would you suggest we make the reservations, taking into account getting off the plane and finding our way to the Blue Lagoon? 8? 9?

Second, our flight to Paris leaves at around 7:30am the next morning. What time should we plan on leaving downtown Reykjavik to get to the airport in plenty of time? I'm thinking around 4:30am, but I wonder if any busses are actually even running at that hour...

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks so much for your response, Harold! I had already found those links.

I was actually trying to find out what people thought of timing our trip to both the Blue Lagoon and getting to the airport from downtown in the morning. I don't have a sense of how big the airport is, or how long it really takes to get there and check-in and stuff. So I was wondering, taking into consideration that our plane lands at 6:45am in Reykjavik, what seems like a reasonable time to make our reservation at the Blue Lagoon? And also, taking into consideration that our plane leaves the next morning at around 7:30am, what a reasonable time to leave downtown would be to get to the airport in time?

The Keflavik airport is pretty small and it is one of the fastest customs I have ever gone through. The Blue Lagoon is about 15 minutes away from the airport so you could get there by 8am. I don't think there is any real big benefit to booking a time in advancefor the Blue Lagoon (they say better prices and faster entry but I didn't find either of these to be that different from when I just showed up) so you could just pay when you get there. Also I just double checked the Blue Lagoon's website and it doesn't look like they open until 9am anyways.

Connection downtown Reykjavik and Keflavik airport takes about 45 minutes and if you try to get at the airport about 1.5 hours early that should be more than enough time. Iceland Air knows travelers need to connect travelers with their flights so there will be buses running.
