Iberia Airlines connection times

Has anyone flown Iberia to Italy (or any other non-Spain destination)? I found a good airfare from Boston, but the connection time is only about 1 1/2 hrs and there is a terminal change from T4 to T4S. Their site lists a "minimum" connection time of 65 minutes. Is this really enough?

Thank you in advance.

That's great! Yes, it is Madrid, I should have noted that. Thank you for the info.

The only thing is the transfer from T4 to T4S (or vice versa) can be a bit confusing. Follow the signs and you'll end up descending into the bowels of T4 and come out at a bunch of sliding doors at an underground railway track. That's the special little subway that runs to/from T4S. You might also find it a loooong walk down T4 until you get to the subway line.....and a loooong walk to your gate in T4S....but, as has been noted, you'll make it in lots of time. That brings to mind....why would they ever build a new airport terminal that needs a satellite from day one?

We made a similar connection last summer, through Madrid's Barajas to Italy: your connection is enough, but you'll have to move quickly and your plane will need to be on time (or with 15 minutes of on time). It's a distance, even if the names of the terminals (T4 and T4S) suggest they're close. Move quickly (without running) and you'll be fine.

Yep....be prepared for a loooooooooong walk. The joke among Madrilenos is that T4 is called T4 because thats how far it is in kilometers between gates!

I flew into T4S last Dec and the walk just to get to the little subway seemed like it was gonna go on forever.
