Has anyone flown Iberia Air from US in the last few months and can speak to the actual boarding process and carry-on experience? Flying in May from DC (IAD) to Venice via Madrid.
Re: Boarding - Are they boarding by GROUP regardless of seat assignment? Do they board within each Group by seat assignment (e.g. Group 4, rows 1-10 to end; OR Group 4 end rows first). Read this from last August https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/travel/iberia-airlines-economy-how-make-most , which seemed to indicate row boarding from back, but Iberia material says this: https://www.iberia.com/us/boarding/ Will help with my seat selection.
Re: carry-ons, does it seem like there is ample room in overhead for carry-ons that meet dimension and weight specifications?
