It would be great if Trump had a real White House Press Secretary who could decipher his (confusing) speeches but he won't allow the current one to face the public or the press.

I cancelled my 2 European trips this Spring long before Trump address this eve.

Tonight's announcement applies to travel from a Schengen country.
Ukraine is a non Schengen country
At this moment, any travel restriction TO Ukraine would be imposed by Ukraine.

This is honestly not a helpful statement. The situation is changing rapidly and even if Ukraine is not currently on the travel ban list, it could be at any time if conditions warrant. What is true today may not be 24 hours from now.
Anyone considering foreign travel right now needs to seriously need to ask yourself why are you traveling, what is your personal risk health-wise, what would happen if you are prevented from returning and what would happen if you had to be quarantined?
