Based on previous discussions, it looks like packing cubes are a good idea. What's the best way to use them? Do you put all the pants in one cube, shirts in another or do you put one day's clothes in a cube? Also, I roll my clothes to fit more in, would I roll them and then put them in a cube?
It's helpful to organize similar types of clothes together (shirts together, pants, etc.). You can use the different sizes and shapes as appropriate to the items you plan to put in them. This is how I do it. It's pretty easy to take all the cubes out of your bag, open them, retrieve what you want, and zip and repack them.
You can roll and put clothes in a cube. You can stack folded clothes as well. Just see what works best for you and for what you are bringing :-).
Lexey - thanks for responding. I will purchase some cubes and try them out on my trip this fall. I've become a better packer over the past few years but there's always room for improvement. thanks again!
