how to set up

I have noticed that my profile is the only one that doesn't automatically list that option yet there is no way to set it up via my profile. I have read the general info on how to set up my profile/account. Am I missing something here? Please offer help as I'd like to receive private messages. Thanks!

You are set up. BUT you cannot send private messages to yourself when you are logged in. Therefore that line is missing from your post. Make sense ????
