There are 3 buses every day from Venice Tronchetto, and one train from Venice Santa Lucia, operated by OEBB, the Austrian National Railway.

Ditto Sam. You can get fares on the bus from the Tronchetto for as low as 19Euro on www.oebb.at There is also a night train that departs Venezia S.L. at 20:57 and arrives in Villach at 00:42. 29Euro.
