How to book a bike on the Eurostar to London from Brussels?

Eurostar's website says that the Brussels to London line carries bicycles without need for a bag/box or disassembly. But on the Eurostar and Belgian rail websites, I can't find a toggle to book bicycle space .

I'm assuming one doesn't just show up to the train with a bicycle and get on? In my experience high speed trains that take bikes have limited bike space. I've never not had to make a bicycle reservation.

Anyone able to link me to the website where I book my bike on the Eurostar Brussels to London?

Thanks very much!

Found it myself, thanks. Info for Eurostar website pasted in below in bold for posterity.

You send an email! I think after you've booked. And then they get back to you and tell you okay or no? If so doesn't make planning the easiest process, emailing back and forth with a European bureaucracy for approval after you've bought a ticket. It would be great to at least know which are the "select trains" before buying tickets.

Will give it a go and see I guess ... :)

Travelling to and from London with a Bicycle
You can book a space for your bike by emailing [email protected]. This service is currently limited to selected trains between London, Paris, and Brussels, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
We can only transport fully assembled bikes on trains travelling between London and Brussels. If you’re travelling between London and Paris, your bike must be disassembled and in a box or bag when you drop it off.
You will need to drop your bike off at our luggage area before heading to departures. When you arrive at your destination, your bike will be handed back to you on the platform, so make sure you only bring what you can carry safely. Trolleys will not be provided.

Good luck.

When I brought a cycle back from Munich to England it was when Eurostar were still at Waterloo. I joined the Eurostar at Brussels. In those days I made a reservation a couple of weeks ahead, then a series of IC to Brussels in the usual way, then handed in the fully assembled bike, and I collected it an hour after arrival at Waterloo from luggage away from the main Eurostar area. Into a taxi to Euston and home.

Hope yours goes smoothly

Hey Lyndash!

I will write up an ongoing trip report as I travel this summer, most of July and a bit of August. It likely will be a little freewheeling than the last. I arrive in Europe 5 nights ahead of my family, and depart one week after. Will still be bike touring, but the family part will be a bit less of that. At this point the family bike touring is likely to be a loop around northwest Belgium. I might start on the Romantic road or there abouts, and end the trip maybe riding here and there in Scotland. So nothing too crazy but should be good fun :)
