Has anyone visited Chisinau? I will be in Bucharest and was thinking of taking a side trip to Chisinau. How was it? What is there to see and do? Any advice? Thanks!!

2-3 days is what I'm allocating. Haven't been but have looked at the Lonely Planet E Europe guidebook.
I'll be traveling through there this August - will come in from Odessa in the Ukraine and continue to Iasi in Romania.
Please post what your experience is once you return.
