What is the earliest you would recommend booking accomodations in hostels? My trip isn't until October, so I'm just poking around for the fun of it right now, and not actually looking to book this minute.
I'm asking, because some hostels we are looking to stay at based on friends' recommendations say they do not have rooms available for our travel dates. Are they just not allowing to book that far in advance, or could they really be already booked for October??
P.S.: I WOULD prefer to book hostels at least a few months in advance, so I can use the reservations for my visa applications.
