Hotels in Brugge Belgium

I'm having an incredibly difficult time believing you cannot find a hotel for 10 nights in Bruges that is under $4,000 - especially since it's not like Bruges is in the same league as other overseas destinations where lodging can be costly (i.e., Moscow, London).

Unless there is some sort of 10 day festival happening during your time in Bruges that is making finding a room (any room) almost impossible to come by, there are definitely cheaper alternatives (apartment rentals, guesthouses, B&Bs, private rooms in hostels).

I don´t know of any hotel in Bruges charging 400$ a night. Not one. Our only 5 star hotel charges 270$ (slightly dependent on exchange rate) for a double room. Are you sure your offer wasn´t 400 for the entire stay? That would be an interesting offer, but believeable.

The Martin's Orangerie charges Euro326 for a deluxe suite. But this seems to be the exception as all of the other hotels in the same class charge half as much.

Are you trying to book a package (flight, ground transport, meals, room) all in one? That is the only way I can see the $4K price making any sense. Brugge is a great value town. Not dirt cheap, but reasonably priced all around.

It was the Flanders hotel. Yes I had tried to book a package but I also went on to a travel website. for 10 days On the website for the hotel it is aproxiamately $2800.

Greets B&B had a listing for two people for six nights for 360 euro including tax and breakfast.

I stayed at the Hotel Nicolas in October. It's right in the heart of Brugge and if you make a right as you leave the hotel, Madame Dumond's chocolates are just a short distance away. They are currently listing a rate of 60E for a double. Not the Ritz but nice, clean with shower and toilet in room and a lift!
