Hotel Recommendations - Munich, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Krakow, and Warsaw

I have booked my flights mid November; arriving in Munich and departing from Warsaw. I'll have two weeks, planning two days in each city, I know I'm being agressive, and looking for hotel recommendations for each city. I'm looking for something relatively reasonable (3-4 star level) that will hopefully include breakfast.

My itinerary is as follows: Munich --> Prague --> Vienna --> Budapest --> Krakow --> Warsaw. I will be taking a train between most locations, but may elect to rent a car on certain legs to see some things off the beaten path.

I'll be posting additional questions in each of the country specific forums, but I'd appreciate any input to hotels, sights, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Eric, are you traveling solo? Or with others (how many)?
What is your hotel budget per night in euros? Any limitations or problems with stairs? I ask so I don’t give you a couple recommendations that aren’t suitable for you.

With 2 days its going to be all about location.

Munich --> Cant help
Prague --> Hotel Ventana
Vienna --> Any hotel you can afford withint this dotted line https://maps.app.goo.gl/CTmopzuS7fsGhC429
Budapest --> The Intercontinental or the Marriott. With 2 days, this way at least you get to see the river. If you cant afford either of those, then check out the Medos and the Hotel Oktogon (ride the M1 Metro to at least see the river).
Krakow --> Cant help
Warsaw. -- > Cant help

Since you are coming in mid-November and spending 2 days in each I am guessing you might be in Krakow the first week of December. EXCELLENT as Hanukkah comes early this year. You may be there for it (starts 4 December). I cant think of a better place to be, and better people to be with.

My picks:

Munich --> Motel One Sendlinger Tor
Prague --> Hotel Haštal
Vienna --> Pension Suzanne
Budapest --> Defer to Mr E
Krakow --> Hotel Wentzl on Krakow's main square
Warsaw --> I didn't like where I stayed -- I would love to go back and would probably stay at Motel One, which is in a good location for sights but a bit away from the train station

Eric, are you traveling solo? Just my wife and I
What is your hotel budget per night in euros? Not sure what hotels cost, but I'm thinking ~200 / night
Any limitations or problems with stairs? No accessibility limitations

In Budapest well-located hotels:
4-Star Intercontinental was my first suggestion, but not for the price. 200€ without refund or breakfast. Closer to 250€ with. Too much for what you get.
4-Star Marriott, too silly expensive to say.
4-Star Hotel Oktogon and is 105€ to 135€. Very nice classic building.
3-Star Medos Hotel, great location 70€ without breakfast or cancelation and 80€ with. Nice hotel. Great location, but simple.
4-Star Three Corners Avenue about 140€

Go cheap in Budapest as you will need the money for a decent hotel in Vienna. I looked at prices the week the Christmas Market opened. If you come the week prior, they will probably be lower.

Munich...Hotel Eden Wolf, a 3 star.

Vienna....Mercure, 4 star , across from Westbahnhof if you want to keep the budget down, or the 4 star Austria Trend Parkhotel Schonbrunn, if you want a palatial and historical hotel. For the right price I really enjoyed staying there last summer.

Krakow and Warsaw.... I would choose the Polish chain, Polonia.

Exact dates and budget would be helpful. I’m happy to take those details, look at what’s available and make recommendations, especially given your compressed timeframe.
