I saw an article about Tarifa, Spain where a woman owned a small hotel and was so informative she decided to write her own book about Tarifa. I was trying to find the article again and the name of the hotel as I wanted to possibly reserve some rooms there. Can someone assist me in this matter? Thank you in advance.
I'm not sure about the book or specific hotel. Here's where we stayed: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g315918-d1057367-Reviews-Hotel_La_Torre-Tarifa_Costa_de_la_Luz_Andalucia.html It's about five miles west of Tarifa and a very nice place. They have an in-house restaurant but there are also surprisingly nice cafes in town.
Thank you for your suggestion Brad.
I could add that this hotel was our first choice, based on research I did prior to the trip (I don't normally get reservations, just call ahead the day I plan to arrive). While we were in Granada, we talked to the owner of the Irish Pub (I think there's only one). When we told him we were going to Tarifa, he suggested La Torre and gave us their phone number. Later, I checked my notes and realized his suggestion was the same as our first choice for Tarifa.
Thanks Brad.
