Hi folks - i am currently weighing these two hotels for my stay in Paris. My requirements are
1. safe location
2. clean room
3. proximity to the metro
4. proximity to cafes/eateries
Do you have good/bad experiences with either of the hotels? I am being quote 92 euro for a double room in both the hotels - does that sound like a reasonable price for beginning of May?
I see that both hotels are in Rick's Paris 2008 and they both look good. (I haven't stayed in either one, so I can't speak from experience.) I checked them both out on tripadvisor.com and found that l'Esperance is #199 and de France is #1390 out of 1757 in Paris. If you don't get any or many responses on the Wall, you could check tripadvisor to help you make a decision. Bonne chance!
