Has anyone used Hosteltraveler to book?

I have not, but I have used www.hostelworld.com and www.hostelbookers.com both with great success.

Be careful with some of the sites,I have seen www.hostelworld.com actually edit a review I posted, just left the rating but took off the bad review. I personally don't like booking through a hostel site as there are kinda like a middle man.
I would suggest www.hostelz.com, it gives a good list of almost all the hostels in each city, not just ones you can book through there site. You can read reviews, then the best part it offers you a direct link to that hostels website so you can book direct with the hostel.
