Holy Moly!

The Korean spammers were hitting the Tripadvisor Air Travel forum really hard the past few days. TA must have figured a way to block them so they have turned their attention here.

Looks like multiple bots programmed to post once every minute.

It should be easy to block them. Even my computer would put it in spam.

I'm assuming you're talking about incoming emails, not a website host.

Oh great. It also took 12-15 hours for the TA folks to stop the spam and I am sure their staff is bigger than the RS staff. It was yesterday evening before it was all cleaned up, at least on the forums I participate in. Air Travel got cleaned out, but then they were lingering on the Road Trips forum.

And now I see some "craig's list" spam mixed in with the Korean spam. Ahhh, the days of just the Reddit spam seem so long ago, lol!

Husband reads Korean. It is Spam for porn sites.

Yeah, Trip Advisor was a mess last night. Was happy to see it cleaned up this morning.

Interestingly enough, the spam checking service caught around half of the total spam, and became more effective as it went on. Of course, when "half" equals 3750, it's small consolation.

Yes, Nancy, I was talking about incoming emails. But if it can sort through emails why not through posts? I wonder if this was from North Korea? They already attacked Sony.
