Would anyone like to comment on holiday traditions they've witnessed? I was in Orvieto 12/23-26. They were projecting images onto some of the buildings - for instance, there was a slowly-rotating, large image of the Orvieto Duomo's rose window projected onto one of the towers in town. On Christmas evening, they were projecting an image of gold stars on a blue background onto a large area of the pavement around the Duomo, and the stars appeared to be running rapidly across the pavement. There were many people out and about, and several little kids were delightedly running with and jumping on the stars.
