Hiring a laptop for a few weeks in Italy

My daughter is doing a study course in Florence for almost 4 weeks in November. Is it possible for her to hire a laptop for that time? She will be staying in a hotel which has internet connection but does not have terminals. Also because it is a History subject she will be needing to write up essays etc but she doesn't have her own laptop.

Hmmm,
never heard of such a possibility, but she might better off buying one. I don't know how much a laptop is in Australia, but in the US they come cheap these days, about $500 for a brand new one. You can try to get a used one too.
