Hi! I’m going to Finland and the Baltics in a few weeks. I will be on my own for two full days in Helsinki. One day I’m taking an architecture tour but I’m trying to figure out what to do the other day. I would love to go to Fiskars Village but it looks like I’d have to take a train and then a bus, which seems hard since I don’t know how often the bus runs. I could also go to Porvoo. Is that easier? Is there something else I should consider instead? Thanks!
It's not at all hard. The bus is not very frequent, but you can find the schedule on www.raseborg.fi. Find a connection in the morning that suits you, and note when available buses back depart. But if none of the buses suits your schedule, a taxi between Fiskars and Karis won't bankrupt you.
