I am posting this here rather than on the Finland thread since I thought it would receive more attention . Since a number of us have visited Helsinki , and many have not , I hope this will give a thumbs up for those who might contemplate a visit . I spent a week there on a Russia - Scandinavian trip ten years ago , and Helsinki left an indelible imprint on me .
