My 87 year old mom is meeting my sister in Amsterdam to start a cruise. I would like to find her a nice B&B or hotel for a night or two. I also want to have her met by a driver at the airport so that she doesn't have to navigate her way around the city. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! Martha
Many hotels in Amsterdam have STEEP staircases. So when contacting a hotel, that might be an important criteria for your mom.
Also, go to the official site of Amsterdam airport and find out about the ground transportation options that are available.
This is a simple procedure. Book your mother into accommodation with one of the large international hotel groups. Give clear information about the nature of her needs. Request an airport assistance and pick-up. Any of the major chains like Golden Tulip, Radisson SAS or Hilton will provide these services for a reasonable rate.
