Unfortunately, this one won't be in stock until the day I leave. Does anyone know anywhere else that sells these. Rick's store and REI sell a scaled down version where the cable is less than 6 inches, I'm looking for a long one like this. Any help is appreciated!!
The lock is available at any travel store, maybe even Target and the "vinyl-coated steel cable" is a bike style available at bike retailers. You can "do-it-yourself" the same thing.
I went to my local hardward store a few years ago and had a thin cable with looped ends for the lock made for me. It wasn't expensive and I got just what I wanted.
Linda, that's the problem. The lock ISNT available at ANY travel store. I've been to 3 of them and none of them have had this. Can someone provide the name or link to a travel store who has this?
Perhaps Magellans can send 2-day service USPS or Fed Ex. I have the one that is shown on Magellans.
JB, the problem isn't the shipping time, it's the availability. It won't be AVAILABLE to even ship until the day I leave.

I must be missing something. It's a simple TSA approved lock (and it's a 3 dial combo, very easy to pick) - which can be found in Target, Walmart, REI, etc - and it's combined with 50" of cabling. The cable can be bought at any hardware store in varying guages (thicknesses).
I suggest a different type of cable lock. It is a "Masterlock retractable cable lock". The cable retracts into the housing for much easier storage of the cable. I really like mine. Check out this link for a picture.
