Please help me ASAP!!! How do I sign a birthday card for a friend in French?
Thank you!!!
Joyeux anniversaire! = Happy Birthday! Do you want more of a greeting?
No I mean like "love from"....
How do the French sign birthday cards
It's "des bises" which is closer to "hugs and kisses". The exact translation would be too romantic for most circumstances. Edit: Beatrix's contributions are absolutely correct. Des bises is a bit brief, internet-type talk. Des bises, Bets
Thanks you^
Yeah...I didn't know how well you knew the person ;-) Better safe than sorry!
Actually you sign a birthday with a name. Or are you asking for the French translation of Katie.
The French have a number of greetings to end a letter or card. Depends on the relationship. For a friend I would choose one of the following Grosses Bises

When I was studying French we always said, bon anniversaire! We must have wished a lot of people bon anniversaire as I had no trouble remembering it. :) Pam
