My husband and I are traveling to London in two weeks. Approximately how long does it take to deplane, go through passport security and then obtain our luggage? We are flying from Nashville,
Thank you!

It really depends on how many other flights land at the same time, how many passport lanes are open, whether your passport works with the egates or if it glitches, etc. Probably budget an hour or two. If you're booking a car, just tell them your flight number and text/call them when you're through everything. If you're trying to book other transport, it might be best to just wait until you arrive to buy your ticket.
I have found that luggage is the biggest wild card in the timing. I've had it waiting for me when I cleared passport control and I have waited an hour for it. If I had to pick an average time, I would say that I can usually make to the international arrivals exit doors in about an hour.

^This. I arrived at LHR on August 12 at noon, which was an hour ahead of the scheduled arrival time. Thankfully they had a gate for our plane. I looked at the time stamps on my texts and it looks like we made it through immigration and baggage claim and on to the Elizabeth line in 85 minutes. That said, it could take you more or less time depending on all the variables noted above. Don't forget to apply for your ETAs if you haven't already.
Where you are seated on the plane can make a huge difference. The folks in business and premium economy can be off the plane and through immigration long before the folks seated in the back of economy section.
I agree with what others have said above. One of the biggest variables is when you actually land. It’s quite common to circle London several times waiting for a landing slot as Heathrow is so crowded.
It depends on everything everyone above has said. Too many variables to give a definite answer.
I've gone from deplaning to exiting customs in as little as 15 minutes and as long as 45 minutes. That's without checked baggage.
This is why I don't check luggage. Yes, it can add a solid hour of waiting.
On our next trip to London we land at LHR at 1040 with a tour of Royal Albert Hall at 1330. Might be a little tight, but the worst thing that could happen is missing the tour, which is not the end of the world. We will just drop our luggage at the hotel and stroll around Hyde Park.
