We are booking a quick one-way flight from London to Geneva, Switzerland on Swiss Air and was debating between flying out of Heathrow or London City. We'll be staying in Westminster, and it looks like it would take approximately the same amount of time to get to either airport, a little cheaper to take public transport to LCY vs. LHR, I've also read that London City is smaller and easier to get in and out for short intra-Europe flights, but I wanted to get some feedback if you've done this trip or used both airports before, and what you would suggest. Thanks!

I have flown out of LCY numerous times. For a short trip, and especially if you are staying in Westminster, go from LCY. It is a very small terminal and everthing moves fast. The terminal can, however, get very crowded.
From Westminster to LCY will take about half the time as it would from Westminster to LHR.
