My husband and I are blessed with great insurance in the States and have coverage for Out of Network international travel...the gap though is $12,000 out of Network Deductible! I don't like that risk. Any suggestions on travel insurance that is from reputable companies to cover us for England and France?

I would recommend visiting insuremytrip.com and reviewing the different plans and options. Packages that include comprehensive coverage are pretty cheap, but you can buy just a medical plan if that's all you need. All the info is there. I've used TravelEx before. Nationwide was the underwriter...A+ rating, so certainly a reputable company. Another good resource for info is travelinsurancereview.net

Does your plan have in-network hospitals or doctors in other countries? I have BCBS and the last time I travelled I took a list of in-network hospitals in the major cities that I was visiting.

Good question. When I called today, the girl told me, well of course, there aren't any in-network in Europe...but it is United Healthcare so I should double check. I went with AMEX insurance. $50.00 for coverage for both of us for medical and evac and dental....25K coverage for each which makes me feel good...
