Has anyone done a vacation through Fleetway Travel?

I've seen some great deals offered by this British-based travel agency and was wondering if anyone has ever booked a vacation through them. Their website says they've been doing it for 40 years. Your thoughts/experiences would be welcome. Thanks!

I have never heard of them, despite them being based in London! Looking at their website, they focus on the cheaper end of the market.

I always look at Trustpilot for reviews when I don’t know the company. Fleetway score 4 out of 5. The experiences differ depending on the holiday in question.

Answered my own question by checking out Trip Advisor - some people had really horrible experiences with Fleetway. Thank you aarthurperry for the reminder to do homework before booking what might have been a terrible trip and then complaining about it!

Thank you, Jennifer, for answering my post. There used to be a company called Club ABC Travel that operated out of New Jersey and offered some great trips at great savings, operating on volume. But once the airfares rose because of fuel price hikes, the company folded, sadly. I guess the deal offered by Fleetway was too good to be true!

I have traveled indirectly through Fleetway Travel. In March of 2017, Cheapair (Cheapair.com - not Cheapoair.com - which is a different company) offered round trip air (from select U.S. cities) plus five nights at the Mercure Hotel Paris Montmartre (breakfast included) for $699 per person in October of that year. This was a Fleetway Travel promotion offered via Cheapair.
We flew non-stop from LAX to CDG on Norwegian Air. This was the Norwegian "basic" ticket (no seat selection, no in-flight food and 10kg per person carry-on luggage). It was a good value and we had a great time.

Thanks for your response. The trip I was considering was r-t from NY to Oslo, hotels for 7 nights plus breakfast, and travel within Norway plus fjord cruises for $1500 pp. The consensus on Trip Advisor was that the company is like the nursery rhyme - when they're good they're very very good, and when they're bad they are horrid. (like things are canceled at the last minute, sarcasm when you manage to speak with them, etc). I'm glad you had one of the very good experiences!
