Has anyone dealt with TravelZone - a company headquartered out of Athens, Greece (www.travelzonegreece.com) We paid a deposit for a hotel and they are now asking for the balance 30 days prior to our arrival. If you know of this company or have dealt with them, I would appreciate your feedback
A balance on your credit card or a balance in cash? And why did you not just book directly with hotel??Sorry, I have never used middlemen, makes me nervous. Which hotel is it?
Have you tried just googling - " TravelZone reviews" on even just TravelZone and see what comes up?
I'm dealing with them also. They took my res 2 days ago but have yet to charge my CC for anything yet. I can't speak for Nick, but I booked with them because there was a discount to the hotel's listed price and because when I called the hotel they told me they had no rooms available (though Travel Zone was able to wrangle one, which the hotel not only confirmed but upgraded at no additional cost - go figure). Hopefully it will work out, but someone on TripAdvisor.com mentioned that they had a horrible experience getting through to them to change a res after they booked the room. That was 2 years ago. We'll see how things work out. Now that my hotel has my reservation I can always book through them and dispute the charge from Travel Zone, if there is one, on my CC (the beauty of charge cards).
