Has anyone actually got money back from Orbitz and their price assurance?

I have wondered that myself. How could you ever know that someone booked the exact same thing for cheaper? Why would they tell you? It just seems to me to be a "guarantee" that guarantees nothing.

The bigger question is 'why use Orbitz ?' Venere.com and others with a no bs approach show better deals over a wider range.
