Has any stayed at the hostel in the Cinque Terre (Maronola)

Maggie, I haven't stayed at the Hostel in Manarola, but I did have a look at the facilities on my last visit to the CT. My impression was that it's a clean and well run Hostel. However, they do have a strict lockout in the afternoon (13:00-16:00?) and that's a problem for me as I sometimes like to come back to the room to rest my aching feet.

FWIW, I've never heard any negative comments about that particular Hostel.

I have stayed in about 20 hostels from E Europe to Thailand and never been disappointed. I always inspect the room before I rent it. I also read comments from visitors on the various webpages. They are not always accurate, but they are helpful. When I read more than one negative report I avoid that hostel.
