Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday with friends and/or family. Those on the east coast and midwest - bundle up and stay warm. Mild drizzly day here in Oregon, good day to stay inside and enjoy a local cider.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am grateful for this wonderful forum where I can share my love of travel with others, it's a wonderful respite for me from everyday life woes. The smoke from the nearby wildfires has finally cleared so it's a sunny but chilly day here on the little island of Alameda...once I get the turkey going there will be a long walk.
