Happy Midsummers Night! We are halfway through the traditional European growing season that started with the Spring Equinox and will end with the Autumnal Equinox. Here in Austria Summer Solstice is celebrated with lights being floated down the Danube in the Wachau Valley, with Fireworks, and with hilltop bonfires in rural areas. On this longest day of the year, the sun won't set in Vienna until after 9:00pm. Unfortunately, the weather is cool and rainy.
