Whether you have 10 posts, 100, or 10,000, I'd like each of you to stop and think about all the help you've given others and how -- together -- you are helping to encourage millions of people to travel -- or travel better -- each year. For those of you that know our mission, you know that we're out to to inspire, inform, and equip people to have European trips that are fun, affordable, and culturally broadening. You're all a part of that and we thank you. We hope you continue to enjoy this space to connect with other travelers in the coming decade.

Today is the last day of the last month of this last decade. Who knows what the next decade will bring to all of us but hopefully it will be one of peace and certainly happy travels thanks to everyone who contributed to this wonderful community. We have been contributing for a while now but have learned so very much more than we have given. Have a safe holiday.!!!

I also would like to say "thanks" to everyone who has posted or contributed in one way or another to this wonderful forum-all true learning experiences in many ways. Na, lets argue about that. As an old engineer this is really the last year of the current decade and beginning of the new decade isn't till next year. But the beauty of this argument is that we can celebrate both this year and next. Of course we had the same argument when we started the new century. Son and dil are in Paris and reported that the fireworks were spectacular a few hours ago. On to the next year, and Happy travels to everyone.

Thank you Webmaster and Forum participants! I’ve enjoyed receiving info to enhance our trips and hope others have benefited from my responses, too. It is nice to hop onto the forum site to catch up on new trip reports, topics, etc.

I will really miss all of the fantastic free classes at the RS Center when we lived so close. Now I will just need to schedule a weekend trip around some Seattle activities, seeing friends and attending a RS class!

Happy New Years and onto the next decade of travel. Thank you Webmaster for keeping us all on track and wanting to travel more and provide all the helpful hints we all have tucked inside our brains somewhere. I love to share my travel knowledge to those I am close with outside the travel forum and on the forum. I really love learning all the new tips and hints for travel to Europe. Happy travels to all. I'm with Frank on this one.... the folks at the Farmers Almanac say the new decades start in the 01 years not the 00 years as we count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 NOT 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 But Happy New Year this decade and next!!!
