Happy Bastille Day!

You will have to get through the Gauls, Roman Paris, the construction of Notre Dame and the Louvre before getting to the Bastille at 9:55, and then there's about 1 minute of “drone” footage showing what the Bastille would have looked like.

raised in hawaii hadn't heard of bastille day. there was a festival to celebrate bastille day in san francisco 2 years ago and off we went. we had a trip planned to paris and amsterdam in september.
fun and crazy day at embarcadero plaza:
food, booths, french products, vintage car show, music and dancers, games, fashion, dress up booth with lots of marie antoinette hairstyle, wine/beer bistro, waiter/waitress serving contest, frenchbee airlines (new discount airlines)
met a group of guys with their french shirts and flags having a grand old time, one spoke english and told us getting crazy for the world cup soccer match (france and croatia), they had reservations at hotel buffet to watch the game the next day.
thanks to all the french and those that are "french" that day for a great and informative outing. yes i did enjoy my trip to paris, went again to paris and annecy october 2019. my good friend is french basque with family still near saint-jean-pied-de-port area.
