Guidebook purchase

I am planning a trip for May 2010 that includes Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. All three of these towns are included in Rick's Eastern Europe Book and each town has their own individual book. I don't mind spending the extra money, I was just wondering how much extra info I receive if I buy the individual books. Thanks

My technique is to check them out at the library, then buy the one(s) I like best to take with me.
