You can begin your own research by reading the information Rick Steves has posted on this very website. Click on the "Plan Your Trip" tab at the top of the screen, then click on "Best Destinations", then "Greece". Rick has posted seventeen articles here, which cover the Greek mainland as well as the islands.

Check out that Orthodox Easter is the first weekend in April. I'm not sure if it makes a difference. After you've firmed up some of your plans you might want to check the TripAdvisor Greek forum. Also, search the To the East portion of the helpline for others' posts on Greece. Pam
