any advice regardng travel from granada to seville?
Take the bus....about 3 hours (15 minutes longer than the train) and costs about a third as much....I think it was 18 Euro last year. Just make sure you don't drink a lot of coffee before boarding....no washrooms on board. I can't remember if we stopped halfway on this trip or not. Remember, too, that when you get your ticket, you'll have a seat number on it....assigned seating on Spanish coaches.
Not sure seat numbers mean anything. Earlier this month we took the bus from Granada to Malaga. Four of us got on in about the middle of the board group and our seats were taken. Got no response when we stopped at our seats and looked at the seat numbers, they just ignored is, so we just moved on to other seats. The bus was only 2/3 full so seating wasn't a problem. I think we were the only Americans on board and everyone just seemed to fill the seats front to back. I supposed if the bus was overfilled we might have demanded our seats but as it was it wasn't a big deal.
I've been chased out of my seat a couple of times when I thought the bus would be empty enough to cash in....usually older folks.
