How do I get google maps in Europe in English? I'm in Germany and the directions are all German. There must be a way to switch the language from that of the host country. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Try ViaMichelin. There's a clearly visible tab on the top R hand corner of the page that allows you to change languages.

If you go to maps.google.co.uk it should be in English.
