Glasgow vs. Bath

We will be visiting Edinburgh as well as London and have some extra time. Should we extend our trip in Scotland and go to Glasgow before flying back to London, or leave Edinburgh and go to Bath instead of Glasgow? Thank you!

Flip a coin. They are really not comparable. Bath is far more historical being an old Roman city but Glasgow is interesting also.

Really, really different palces. Glasgow is marvelous with lots of energy and interesting museums--the Riverside, The Tenement House, Kelvingrove, the Burrell Collection and more. It's quite different from Edinburgh and can offer a contrasting perspective of Scotland.

easy enough to visit Glasgow from Edinburgh only 45 minutes on the train.

We did Bath as a day trip out of London & loved it. Very historical, interesting sites, walkable. Our trip was with London Walks and we took the train to get there. As I recall we left around 9am and got back around 6pm. Never been to Glasgow so I can't comment on that. Whichever you choose, enjoy!

you can fly from Edinburgh to Bristol with Easyjet, from Bristol it is a fairly short bus ride from the airport to Bath
