What types of clothing should we take with us? We will be in and around Glasgow for one week then around Roy Bridge in the Highlands for a week.

I've been in Scotland in July when it was around 55 degrees. I've also been when it was pushing 90 (that's quite rare!) I'd take a mixture of clothing and make sure I could layer it.

Layers is definitely good advice. However be sure that one of the layers is Goretex or some other water proof, not water resistant material. I like a jacket with a hood so that my hands are free to take pictures look at maps etc. BTW you can always by a great new sweater if it gets really cold. Pam
