My husband and I have stayed there twice, the most recent time being September, 2011. Danielle and Claude are very nice owners and are more than willing to provide help and information about Giverny and the local area. She had tickets for the Monet gardens available for sale to expedite entrance. She also made dinner reservations at the Hotel Baudy for us. It is about a 10-15 (or less) minute walk to the Monet gardens and between 5-10 minutes to the Hotel. There is a large parking area behind the B&B main building and you can leave your car there when you visit the gardens. Danielle and Claude live in the main building and most of the rental rooms are in a separate building. We stayed in the Poppies room. The room was decorated in red and white. It had two twin beds but I believe Danielle told us that she could convert it into a double bed if we wanted. The bathroom is a good sized room, larger than many others we have used. It has a shower but no tub. Danielle also has a tea and instant coffee service in the room with an electric pot to heat water. There is no TV or phone available in the room. She does not accept credit cards. She asked that we send her a personal check for the amount and when we arrived, she returned the check to us. She also accepts cash which is what we used the first year. If you are interested in staying there, make your reservations early because it is a very popular place to stay! Also, if you visit Giverny, try to save time to visit the American Museum. It is a very nice musuem with lovely gardens. One time, we saw a great special exhibit of life along the Seine.
