Any suggestions as to how to get from the airport to the Westin? We understand the water taxi will run about $100 but we are unsure of the vaporetto and walking the last part of the way ( we will have just gotten off a red eye flight).

Have you contacted the Westin with this question? The vaporetto is very easy to use and most ticket sellers I've had contact with spoke at least limited English so, no problem. If you want to be dropped at your hotel doorstep, take the watertaxi. Convenience has a price.
