Getting to Kuekunhof

We are staying at the Hotel Larende In Amsterdam = De Clercqstraat 115, 1053 AJ. We want to get to the bus that will take you to Kuenkenhof for the Tulip Festival. What is the best way to do it? Tram, bus, uber???

Check the Keukenhof website, it's very helpful, and has a lot of useful info. They have maps for the various public transportation modes to the gardens, and you can buy combo tickets for admission and transportation. I was just looking at the website last night.
Have a wonderful trip.

The bus leaves from the RAI station at Europaplein (RAI Amsterdam Europaplein). You can use Google maps to lay out the suggested route, just make sure the departure time is set to your day and time.

From what I see, there is no direct route, all the trams and buses require at least one change and takes 45 to 60 minutes to get there, to catch the bus to Kuekunhof, which is another 35 minutes.

The preferred route actually takes you from your hotel to Centraal station (on Bus 18), then Tram 52 to the RAI station. I guess with that, I wonder if it would be as easy to just catch the train to Haarlem, then take the bus from outside the station there. You could then have a walk through Haarlem before or after as well.

Keukenhof is sublime! I visited during the third week of April in 2022, and if there is ever a repeat, I would actually do two days there -- one to actually visit Keukenhof itself (it can be a full day, if you love flowers and floral design), and the second day to rent a bicycle and ride through the outskirts to see the actual tulip growing fields.

Disfrute!

@lydiabaca, is it too much to do both ( tour Keukenhoff and a bike ride) on the same day? Thanks so much!

It would be too much for me! However, I am a plant and flower fanatic. Our bus arrived at Keukenhof around 9 or 9:30 and left at 2:30, and I could have stayed longer. The place is enormous and the designs - think enormous, beautiful "carpets" made of flowering bulbs. So, you could probably do both, but for me, visiting Keukenhof Gardens itself was perfect for the day.

If you are going to do both, I am guessing that it might be best to start with the bike ride (maps included), and cap it off with Keukenhof.
