Because of an extended trip through areas not covered with Rick's books, I'm now without my trusty RS books. Where can I buy them in Europe. No luck in Madrid or San Sebastian, and now it's on to Nice and the Cinque Terre without Rick's guidance. Any ideas? I could have the copies sent from home, but that's going to cost something big. Thoughts?

In 2007, I was able to buy Rick Steves' books at an English language bookstore in Nice called The Cat's Whiskers. Address 26-30 Rue Lamartine.

That's a good idea to call ETBD. I've seen them scattered through Europe, often in hotels that he mentions, or in bookstores. I don't know who distributes the books, but they may be able to direct you.

Also, in my experience, pretty much every recommended RS hotel has a copy of the book in the lobby.
