Any last minute tips before we leave ? Leaving for a 6 week vacation thru out Europe (March 1rst). We have already packed. What else should I consider ? closing up house , suspending mail, emergency numbers ?

Stop newspapers, tell neighbors, email copy of passports to yourself so you can retrieve overseas if necessary, call credit card companies and tell them where you're going.

Call your bank, too. Set a light timer if you have one. Go to the bathroom before you leave (sorry, that's the mom in me coming out). :)

itinerary info, copy of vital documents( passport, birth certificate, flight details, etc ,etc) left with family in case of emergency, contact info for the embassies in the various countries, don't forget to take a open, positive attitude and carry it with you at all times...lol, have a great trip!
