Would like to have some advise on the route.

Fly in Berlin and fly out warsaw
Will like to cover Berlin, gorlitz, Wroclaw, poznan, Gdnask, warsaw, krakow. What will be the best route and I prefer train/ bus.

Travelling duration 16 days in total
Thanks

You have 16 days (probably not full days) and 7 different destinations. This doesn't seem like a feasible trip unless you're going to move literally every two days or so. Berlin, in particular, deserves a larger chunk of time than that. My advice is to cut way down unless you want to rush through each place and then sit on trains and buses the rest of the time getting to the next place. Also, map out time in transit between all your destinations.

With 15 nights available, consider saving Warsaw and Krakow for another trip and do Berlin, Görlitz, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdnask. Or maybe drop Berlin/Görlitz and focus on just Poland for this trip.

Well, if the OP is flying out of Warsaw, then skipping it doesn't make sense because she'd already be making an effort to get (back) there for her flight in the first place.

I would check out Flix bus routes between Germany and Poland. I agree that these are really two large countries, I would probably focus on seeing one per trip although it's not crazy to try to do both (but it will be at the expense of travel time).

Given flying in and out from Berlin and Warsaw, the only solution for making this a feasible trip is skipping Poznan and Gdansk.

Thank you Agnes, I did not catch that.

In that case, tonfromleiden has it right, the best solution would be start in Berlin make your way down to Wroclaw via Görlitz, continue south-east to Krakow, and then take the high-speed train up to Warsaw.

Can i consider the following route (all by train)

  1. Fly in to Berlin (2).
  2. Berlin - Poznan (2)
  3. Poznan - Wroclaw (3)
  4. Wroclaw-Krakow (4)
  5. Krakow - Gdnask (3) (not sure if this consider long hour of travelling if by train)
  6. Gdnask - Warsaw (2)

We did an 8 night bus tour of Poland in 1989, it was great. We visited most of these places, except Gorlitz.

We went to Poznan, Gdansk, Warsaw, Czestova (sp), Auschwitz, Krakow, then through Prague back to Germany.

Loved the Polish people. I still have the Solidarity pins that we picked up in 89.

If this is your first visit to Berlin, it deserves much more than one full day and some jetlagged hours. Warsaw also deserves more than 1.5 days if you have any interest in its excellent, English-friendly museums. I suggest going to fewer places and slowing down the pace.
